Default Player statistics in Alliance Battles (and beyond)

This maybe has been suggested before, but it would make the more casual modes of PvP such as Alliance Battles much more interesting for me.

It would be really cool if Guild Wars kept track of individual stats in PvP battles.

It should keep track of what each player has done, like damage dealt, kills made, healing provided, capture points captured, etc. etc. Then have a score sheet at the end of each AB round (like in every online FPS) showing how much healing/damage/etc each player did. You could even rank the players according to what they did, but this might be complicated (though not impossible) because of the many different ways a character in PvP can be useful.

I think information like this would be really cool to see, and compare with others and actually give an incentive to play more competitively. This could be implemented in other modes of PvP too, and maybe even PvE.
